It is World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st. Join us in celebrating and helping us to raise vital funds to continue to empower families with children with Down syndrome.

Story

Many of you already know that late last year my wee amazing nephew, Ezra Jenks was born into this world with Downs to my bro Chris and his wife Lynsey, and for a few months had to fight each and every day to survive while under the care of the great doctors and nurses in the Royal Hospital Belfast.

Ezra was also born with Transient Leukaemia, and was on a ventilator for oxygen due to his lungs not operating properly, and has had to fight hard for the first few months of his life. He is a twin to his bro Zak and brother to big sis Anna, and thanks to God he is coming on leaps and bounds now.

After having knee surgery at Christmas past, until the last week or two I had been just hoping and praying that I would be fit enough and stay injury free to be able to have a crack at the London Marathon,

Thankfully, I have managed to navigate through all the training.

I wasn’t going to raise money for any charity this year as I did this last year for Belfast Marathon, but I think even if I can raise a few quid then it will be a massive help to this charity.

So if you can and are willing to please send a few quid to the link provided, if you can’t, then no worries whatsoever, I would happily just appreciate your support on the day. 😁😁
