It will soon be 10 years since my dad, John Kinnear, passed away on 29 April 2017.

To honour his memory, James Berry, Samuel Scott, Ryan Morton and I will be taking part in the Dublin Marathon on 25 October 2026 to raise funds for Evora Hospice, Newry (St John’s Hospice)

Evora is an incredible place, with compassionate and dedicated staff who couldn’t have done more for Dad during his final days. The care, kindness and support they gave not only to him, but to our entire family, helped us through one of the most difficult times in our lives.

As a family, we couldn’t have faced that journey without the outstanding care we received, and we will always be grateful for everything they did.

By taking on this challenge, we hope to give something back to the Hospice so they can continue providing the same exceptional care, compassion and support to other families when they need it most.

Any donation, no matter how big or small would mean so much to us. Thank you for your generosity as we remember Dad and help support this incredible charity.
