Molly Olly's Wishes aim to support emotionally and financially, where appropriate, the lives of children 0-18years with terminal and life threatening illnesses throughout the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of your are aware, in 2011 my 8 year old daughter, Molly died follwing a 5 year battle with cancer. There are no words that express the enormity of our loss. However, we consider ourselves lucky as we were well supported by family , friends and community and say that although Molly's life was way too short , she lived her best life.

The work of the Charity can make a very real difference. It is massively important which is why I am taking on this challenge. It is not an easy ask for me. In March last year following a heart attack, I had a triple heart bypass; prior to that I had two new knees and I have had my cataract done. So in a Trigger's broom or Steve Austin Way I am bundling up the usual wear and tear of a 65 year old in facing what is definitely a challenge but hopefully I can finish in one piece (or even in several pieces).

Molly Ollys Charity supports children 0-18 across the UK with any life threatening condition in a number of ways. The Charity provide wishes, therapeutic toys and books and support other one off projects . One such project is to fund the first consultant in paediatric palliative medicine for Birmingham Children's Hospital. I am grateful of anything you can donate to help make the dark days brighter for children like Molly facing very challenging circumstances.
