Slieve Everest - Climbing the Mourne Mountains equivalent height of Mount Everest!

Adopt NI has been supporting adults linked to the adoption triangle since 1989. Our main priority is to support any adult impacted by the lifelong journey of adoption. We have since extended to include adults separated from their family of origin through foster or residential care.

Story

Almost 15 years ago I came to Adopt NI looking for help in finding my birth mother. Little did I know that I was embarking on my own emotional Everest.

In an attempt to give a little back to Adopt NI for their ongoing help & support, I am hoping to raise much needed funds & awareness by attempting Slieve Everest - climbing enough Mourne mountains to be the equivalent height of Mount Everest. That's a little over 29,000 feet, or 9 and a half Slieve Donard, IN A SINGLE WEEKEND!

Starting mid morning on Friday 7th June & hope to finish on Sunday the 9th🤞

Any additional funding will help Adopt continue their essential work, I would love to raise £5,000. Please donate whatever you can & I'll do the hard miles!

Thanks in anticipation.

Tim Robson, Adoptee.
