Tour de Timberwolf for Alzheimer's Society

Timberwolf Staff is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Tour de Timberwolf · 30 September 2025

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

For a third year in a row, having walked through heavy rain and brilliant sunshine in previous years, on August 13th Timberwolf will be undertaking a walk along footpaths, country roads and rolling countryside surrounding Needham Market.

This year we are raising money for the Alzheimer's Society, a charity that has touched so many lives and will continue to do so as statistics show that one in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime.

Right now, there are 14,200 people living with dementia in Suffolk.

Coming up in September teams and individuals will be battling it out in their very own Tour de Timberwolf using a couple of exercise bikes based in the factory.

An interactive cycle ride from one end of the country to the other and who knows maybe another location thrown in as the finish line. The aim as a collective is to clock up as many miles as possible throughout the month for Cycle for Dementia.

Prizes will be on offer for the individual and team completing the maximum miles, but the main aim is to raise as much money as possible from these two events for the Alzheimer's Society.
