In December 2024, Cadbury Timeout sponsored Techtimeout Tuesday, a day dedicated to disconnecting from screens and reconnecting with ourselves and our surroundings for a healthier, more balanced approach to tech. Following on from a successful event, we want to help spread awareness of this important topic to the next generation through a charity called Positive Social.
Positive Social visit schools to challenge young people on whether they are making good social media choices, tackling issues such as social media behaviour and social media (and smartphone) addiction. Empowering young people by giving them the permission to make different decisions about how they use social media.
