On 11th April a team of us will be walking a 26 mile ‘Joyathon’ to honour the weekend of Elaine (& her twin Helen’s) 60th birthday and to remember a woman who meant so much to so many. The walk is from East Cheshire Hospice to Knutsford and back.

Elaine was a much-loved mum, grandma, sister, aunt, and dear friend. After bravely facing a devastating cancer diagnosis in August 2024 Elaine sadly passed away in November 2024. Her spirit lives on in the way she taught us to live, enjoy the outdoors and to always CHOOSE JOY.

This charity walk is a celebration of Elaine’s life and a way to support East Cheshire Hospice, whose compassion and care make such a difference to patients and families. We can never thank them enough for the care and dignity they showed to Elaine and her family. Every penny raised will help support the cost of a hospice bed and the incredible work they do every day.
