Run Britannia 2025 · 31 May 2025 to 5 July 2025 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting this JustGiving page. I guess you're aware (as you're visiting this page!) that I'm attempting to 'Run Britannia.'

On 31st May 2025, I'll set off from Land's End, and arrive at John O'Groats, 5 weeks later, on 4th July. The plan is to run (and hobble!) over 1000 miles, averaging at about 34 miles every day for 5 weeks, with 4 rest days. If you feel able to donate, even just a small amount, to help me support Sue Ryder Manorlands along the way, that would be amazing! The challenge is self-funded, so every penny raised will go towards the charity.

Manorlands Hospice provide such an invaluable service. As well as providing palliative care, they support people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families and carers. They've supported people I know and love, and I know they've also supported the family and friends of lots of my friends, such is the level of demand.

Sue Ryder need to raise 70% of the amount it takes to run all of Sue Ryder’s palliative care services, and this can’t be done without people like you, choosing to donate (so, again, thank you for visiting my page, and any donations would be gratefully received).
