Story

On Sunday 25th August 2024, I will attempt my first 140-mile triathlon to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.

I'll start with a 2.4-mile swim, followed by a 112-mile cycle, and finish with a 26-mile marathon run.

As you may know, I have plenty of running experience, completing my first 100-mile ultramarathon earlier this year. However, I only started road cycling and swimming back in May. I hope to complete the distance in 20 hours. I’ve found the cycling extremely uncomfortable and tiring after just four hours, but as usual, I'll plod along, try to get myself around the course, and hope for the best!

Thanks to everyone who has supported my charity challenges. We've raised over £21,000 for Children's Hospice South West. Considering it started as one event aiming to raise a few hundred pounds, your generosity has blown me away!

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference to the lives of children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Please help me reach my target by donating today.
