Mini-Marathon Fundraising Event

We are excited to invite you and your little ones to be part of our Mini-Marathon Fundraising Event – a heartwarming fundraising event to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity! This year, we are coming together as a community to raise funds for this incredible cause, which provides essential support to so many children and young people.

Event Details:

🕑 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

📍 Location: Vale Cricket Club (CF35 5BA)

Our Mini-Marathon is all about taking part, it’s about community, kindness, and making a difference. So don’t worry about counting steps or miles – it’s the spirit of participation and fundraising that counts!

How to get involved:

- Fundraise: We’ll be handing out sponsorship forms to every little pupil in class. Please encourage friends, family, neighbours and maybe even school teachers to sponsor your child to participate in our mini-marathon!

- Raise over £50? If your little one raises £50 or more, they’ll be entered into our prize draw – with a chance to win some amazing prizes!

- Celebrate & enjoy: Everyone who takes part will receive a sticker and certificate to commemorate their efforts, plus a huge round of applause for being part of this special day.

To kick off the event, we’ll start with a Tiny Toes warm-up to get everyone ready to run, roll, or stroll around the track. There will be music, bubbles, and high-fives as we cheer everyone on. AND! We have an incredible blue-tiful special guest attending to give out high-fives as the children cross the finish line – Bluey!

What’s in store:

- Food & Drinks: Drinks and yummy food will be available at the Cricket Club Bar to keep everyone fuelled up! 🍔

- Family Fun: This is a community event, so bring along siblings, friends, and family to join in the fun and cheer on the little ones. The more, the merrier! 🎉

- Special Guest: Our favourite blue friend Bluey will be there to cheer on our fundraisers! 💙

- Rain or Shine: The event will go ahead, rain or shine, so please dress accordingly – and let’s hope for some sunshine! 🌞

At tiny toes ballet, we are privileged to teach and help young children develop and grow. However, there are many children in the UK who need life-saving medical care just to survive. Alder Hey treats more children each year than any other hospital in the UK. As one of the busiest children’s hospitals in Europe, it cares for 450,000 children annually, providing vital treatments and support.

We are fundraising to support these children and young people at Alder Hey, helping them get better and enabling them to enjoy the wonderful things we often may take for granted. Your support will make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity!

As the culmination of this incredible effort, Miss Emma, our founder and director, will run 26 miles at the Manchester Marathon on Sunday, 27th April.
