TIP Bull Run Cycling Challenge

Janice Furnival is raising money for Douglas Macmillan Hospice
Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

A heartfelt thanks for visiting our Charity page.

The ‘TIP Bull Run’ will be the 12th charity bike ride for the TIP ‘Fat Bottomed Boys & Girls’.

With your extraordinary support over the past eleven rides, we have raised more than €880,000 for deserving charities.

This year we have challenged ourselves to raise £100,000 for the 'Dougie Mac' and Donna Louise children’s hospice in Staffordshire.

In May ’26 we will be starting our route in the Seville region of Andalucia before heading east towards the ancient Moorish city of Cordoba. From there we will head south through the mountains towards the Antequera National Park before skirting the Montes de Malaga and eventually finishing at the famous bull ring in the heart of the city.

In 2026 our team of 55 cyclists will be drawn from a broad mix of age, size, experience and abilities including TIP employees, loyal customers and supportive partners from the UK and Irish transport industries.. as ever, the only essential requirement is blind enthusiasm! ;D

This year’s challenge exceeds 320kms with some stunning vistas along the way.. Vistas generally mean hills and it’s undoubtedly a tough route requiring the usual FBB&G tenacity and team work to succeed.

We would be so grateful if you could help us to reach our £100,000 target this year.. Success would mean we have raised a total of €1m over the years and your amazing contributions will have got us there..

Sincere thanks for your extreme generosity in supporting us.
