21 YEARS HAS GONE BY SO QUICKLY ...

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page.

I will be taking part in London Marathon again and will be raising awareness and funds for Sickle Cell Society.

21 year ago (on 20th May), I lost my husband, Tunde Windapo, and my children lost their dad, to sickle cell related illness. 18 months prior to my husband's passing was filled with constant visits to and from various hospitals.

As I reflect over the past 21 years, I am deeply grateful for God's protection and provision for me and our children. Indeed, it's been a journey!

Well, there is the saying, time heals, I say time helps us to cope (and hopefully we cope better with time).

As I take part in the London Marathon again this year, I would be really grateful if you would support my cause yet again and let us together make a difference for those who are either coping or dealing with Sickle Cell related illnesses.

Let us together re-write and change the story for other families. Let us extend hope to others.
