As-salaamu Alaykum,

Alhamdulillah, by the grace and mercy of Allah (SWT), we have successfully obtained planning permission from Barnet Council to build a new mosque for our community. This is a tremendous blessing, and with Allah’s will, we now have the chance to construct a beautiful House of Allah that will serve as a hub for worship, learning, and community support for generations to come, InshaAllah.

Our new mosque will feature:

A dedicated prayer hall for men

A separate prayer area and entrance for sisters

Wudu facilities for both brothers and sisters

A kitchen for Ramadan and small events

Classrooms, including adult learning spaces

A multipurpose community hall

Improved facilities for our children's Maktab

A youth club space

A club area for the elderly

To complete this vision, we need to raise £2 million.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise." (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
