Story
We’re raising money for St Ann’s Hospice in memory of my Dad who lost his short battle with pancreatic cancer in late 2021.
Dan and I are running the Manchester marathon on 27th April 2025 and then, just two weeks later on 10th May 2025, I will be travelling to China to trek 36km of The Great Wall of China.
Both activities are in hope of raising as much money as possible for St Ann’s Hospice and the development of their additional hospice in Heald Green.
The wonderful team at St Ann’s cared for my Dad in his final weeks; the team went above and beyond to make him comfortable and relaxed. Since this moment, I’ve owed everything to St Ann’s Hospice and want to raise money to aid the build of their new hospice so others can experience the same special care, attention and dignity when urgently needed.
St Ann’s are proud to be one of the oldest and largest adult hospices outside of London, providing specialist care for people impacted by life-limiting illness, including patients, families and loved ones.
We’d be so grateful of any donation you are able to make.
