To all my colleagues, friends, family, and supportive local businesses,

As many of you know, I’ve decided to take on the challenge of running the Edinburgh Marathon this May 25th. This is not just about completing a race—it's about pushing myself beyond what I thought was possible, inspired by my brother-in-law who ran the Brighton Marathon last year. His determination motivated me to step out of my comfort zone and take on this huge goal.

Training for the Leicester Half Marathon last year was a great start, but I’ve always wanted to challenge myself further. Along with my marathon training, I’m also making personal sacrifices—missing out on precious family time with my beautiful partner and wonderful step-son. It’s going to be a journey of both physical and emotional dedication.

I’d love for you all to be a part of this journey. Whether through your words of encouragement, donations, or simply sharing in this experience, your support will mean the world to me.

I would ask that everyone takes a read on what the charity does and how important it is especially in times of social and financial worries that we give young people the best chance, regardless of background, to fulfil their potential in life.
