We are running the 2026 London Marathon to support Hope House Children’s Hospices, and especially their North Wales hospice, Tŷ Gobaith. This charity provides specialist care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, while also supporting their families through moments no one should face alone. The care they offer is filled with compassion, dignity and understanding, and I want to help make sure every family continues to have access to that support when they need it most.

Tŷ Gobaith offers respite stays, counselling, therapies, end-of-life care and a calm, comforting environment where children can receive expert nursing and families can find space, reassurance and guidance. They support hundreds of families across the region, and much of their funding relies on donations and fundraising efforts. That’s why taking on the marathon feels so important — each step helps raise awareness and every pound raised helps keep their services available to those who depend on them.
