Staff Team is raising money for The Matthew Project

Team: Team fundraising for The Matthew Project

3 Peaks Over 3 Days · 18 September 2026

Across Norfolk and Suffolk, we work alongside young people and adults to overcome the impact of drugs, alcohol, and mental health issues so they can live life more fully. In addition, we offer specialist services for both family members impacted by others’ substance misuse and for veterans.

Story

Dan (Unity team), David (Criminal Justice Team), Luke A (Unity/YouCan Team), Luke (Unity team), Kirsty (Unity team), Sarah (YouCan/Unity team), Damian (Unity team), and Léa (YouCan/Unity team) are climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales over three days to raise money for The Matthew Project. Pete (Next Steps for Veterans) has kindly offered to drive the group between the peaks.

Over the past year, The Matthew Project supported 2,168 young people and adults across Norfolk. Through providing support for children and young people struggling with their own or a family member’s drug or alcohol use, recovery services and criminal justice support, veteran-specific provision, and programmes to help young people improve their wellbeing and move towards education, employment and training.
