Thank you for visiting our JustGiving fundraiser page.
The TMS team (Shulah, Katie, Jo, Rob and Simon) are running the Worcester City Half Marathon on 14th September 2025 to raise money for The Midland Sinfonia Education & Outreach Programme.
Numerous studies has proven that music has profound effects on mental health, cognitive function, and social connections which makes it a powerful tool for enhancing well-being and quality of life for all in the community.
The TMS Education & Outreach Programme provides opportunities for children to learn about and experience the joy of making music and also enables those in the community who might not be able to access live music in the traditional setting of the concert hall to still experience the positive effects of live music.
…As you know Dad absolutely adored listening to your music during the rehearsals and whenever I played the snippet on my phone of you all playing ‘What a wonderful world’, despite having Alzheimer's he would light up and engage… He absolutely came to life.”'...
