Tamsyn’s fundraiser for Prost8 UK

tnf court is raising money for Prost8 UK

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

Prost8 is campaigning to broaden awareness of, and access to, newer minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer here in the UK. Our challenge is to dramatically reduce the current overtreatment of men with prostate cancer.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 6, 2025, for two incredible people who have profoundly been the roles models, life giving and world changing people for not just me, my brothers and our children but for their sister, brother, friends, colleagues and anyone else who was lucky enough to brush shoulders with them. They simply are the best.

Firstly, I run in memory of our beautiful mum who very sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer seven years ago. She was the light of our worlds and faced this awful disease with determination, love, and unbelievable strength. Our mum was our whole world, and I want to raise money to help battle this horrible disease so that others don’t have to lose their world, their angels, their best friends too soon! #mymum#incrediblegirlspower#orginalspicegirl

Secondly, I run for a legendary dad who was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. The care and treatment he received were fantastic, albeit very intense. We are so grateful that he is now thankfully in remission. I aim to raise money for Prost8 UK so they can continue saving lives and keep our dads, brothers, husbands, and sons with us for as long as humanly possible.

I kindly ask you to support this cause by donating anything you can towards my target of £500. Your generosity will make a significant difference in the fight against cancer.
