This year I’m competing in IRONMAN 70.3 in Weymouth so I thought it would be a great idea to continue my Race For Men fundraising for the Stars Appeal Prostate cancer fund.

I have never trained in endurance sports as I have always focussed on strength, conditioning and functional movement and in my 23 years in fitness, this event has to be the hardest I have ever trained for, not only to finish but to compete in also.

It’s a 1.2 mile sea swim, a hilly 56 mile cycle and half marathon (13 mile) run and I aim to complete it in 6hrs 20 mins.

I want to continue to promote the awareness of prostate cancer in men and would like to raise a few more pounds this year so that the men of Salisbury and surrounding areas have better treatment and quicker diagnosis.

So please join me on my IRONMAN journey in raising as much as we can to fight prostate cancer.
