My Ironman 70.3 for Trinity Winchester

Toby Hussey is raising money for Trinity Winchester

Ironman 70.3 Weymouth · 14 September 2025

Trinity is a unique charity operating in the city of Winchester. Its aim is to promote positive, fulfilling lifestyles, emotional wellbeing and long-term changes for those experiencing the effects of domestic abuse and homelessness: substance misuse, mental ill-health, poverty, and social isolation.

Story

This Sunday I’m taking on one of the toughest fitness challenges so far, Ironman Weymouth 70.3.

1.9km Swim

90km Cycle

21.1km Run

After almost a year of training, countless early mornings, late nights, and more hours on the bike, in the pool and running than I can count, it’s finally here.

But rather than just making this about a personal goal, I want to put all this effort towards a cause that really matters: Trinity Winchester.

Trinity is a local charity that works with homeless and vulnerable people in Winchester. Through their direct access drop-in centre, they support over 600 people every year with vital services, giving individuals the chance to change their situation and build towards a brighter future.

It costs £1,857 every single day to keep Trinity’s doors open and to provide everything they do for people in need. Every donation — big or small — makes a real difference.

If you’re able to support me and this fantastic charity, I’d be hugely grateful. Together we can help Trinity continue their life-changing work.

Thank you 🙏
