On 5 July 2026, I will be taking on the Liverpool Chester Liverpool 100 mile bike ride to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House UK. This incredible charity provides families with children in hospital a place to stay just minutes from the wards, offering not only free accommodation but also vital emotional support and stability during unimaginably difficult times.

During our stay in both Arrowe park and Alder Hey Mac house staff have provided us a place to have our own space outside of the hospital and have provided fantastic support also throughout our journey so far.

The demand for their support remains high, as more families face the challenge of having a seriously ill child. By keeping these Houses running day-to-day and expanding their capacity, Ronald McDonald House UK ensures that parents and carers can remain close to their children and be active partners in their care.
