Story
My daughter was diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma in August 2025. She fought so bravely but gained her angel wings 15th January this year. Brain tumours hardly get any funding so I'll forever try to help with donations. I'm absolutely gutted there was no help for my daughter and was given basically a life sentence 💔 There has to be something and I hope one day there will a cure. I just hoped it was available for my girl.
Every Own Walk is a one-of-a-kind event that’s shaped by you and the people who inspire you. For some, it’s about bringing together as many people as possible to celebrate Brain Tumour Awareness Month and look to the future. For others, it’s about gathering their closest loved ones to walk and remember somebody special.
But what every Own Walk has in common is that every step taken and every pound raised will help move us further, faster as we tackle brain tumours on three vital fronts – funding pioneering research, providing life-changing support and campaigning for urgently-needed change.
