I am asking for your support by donating to Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity. I am volunteering as a Women Build Leader, working with a team of women from the University of Toledo athletic staff and their families for one day at the construction site of a new home in Toledo. As part of this effort, our goal is to raise $2,500 for that day’s build. Every dollar counts and is a show of support to a future homeowner, who, in this case, is a single mother of two! Women and children are more likely to suffer from poor living conditions, and this program provides a unique opportunity to help empower women in achieving stability though affordable housing.
