We are joining Seaview's 40 for 40 Challenge to celebrate their 40th anniversary!

The Tolkien Running group is taking on the Seaview 40-40 challenge Friday 13th June and running 40 hills and doing 40 arabesques in one session.

The Tolkien Running Group was inspired by a member who sustained a devastating injury and personal tragedy while coping with the Covid Lockdown. As restrictions lifted, two local athletes took out the member for some light movement to help with physical and emotional recovery and support. Through resilience, determination and quirky strength the group started having fun; recovery ensued and the Tolkien Running Group was born and is now a 10 person strong group

It is now time for Tolkien to give back to the community and support the very wonderful charity, Seaview Project www.seaviewproject working with disadvantaged adults across Hastings, St Leonards and surrounding areas. Please support their amazing feat by donating here.

1. Choose Your Activity: Get creative! Whether it's running 4.40 kilometres, baking 40 cakes, or knitting for 40 minutes, pick an activity that suits you. If you need ideas, check out Seaview's Instagram or campaign page!

2. Donate £4.40: Visit Seaview's fundraising page and contribute £4.40 to help them to continue their mission of making a difference. Every little bit counts and helps them reach their goals!

3. Nominate 4 Friends: Spread the love by tagging four friends to take on the challenge. Let's create a ripple effect of generosity and celebration!

4. Share Your Journey: Capture your activity with a photo or video and share it on your social media using the hashtag #ShowUsYour40Challenge. Don't forget to tag Seaview!
