On Sunday 7th September I will be running the Great North Run for Independent age.

There are 1.9 million older people in the UK living in poverty, and many of them are struggling to afford their food, housing and bills. They have to try and make ends meet amid rising costs and fixed incomes.

Independent Age Helpline Team are helping older people to live independently.

My great grandma lived independently until 104,

My grandad is 92 and lives independently.
