Story
So… we've decided that voluntarily jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane is a sensible way to spend our time.
On 21st November, we're doing a charity skydive to raise £1,000 for Link Age Southwark, a brilliant local charity supporting older people and people living with dementia.
We spoke to the team at Link Age and came away genuinely impressed by the work they do. They provide practical and social support to people living with dementia, helping them stay connected, active and independent in their own homes and community.
We wanted to raise money for a small, local charity where we know our fundraising can make a real difference, rather than it disappearing into the general machinery of a huge organisation.
So, on 21st November, Tom and Adam will be putting their trust in a parachute, a bloke we've never met and several thousand feet of fresh air.
What could possibly go wrong?
If you can spare a few quid, we'd really appreciate your support. Every donation will help Link Age Southwark continue the fantastic work they do supporting people living with dementia.
£1,000 is the target. The skydive is the punishment.
Thanks for supporting us — and please remember that any photos taken on the day will be used as evidence that we actually went through with it.
