We Are Cycling For The TYPE1 WARRIORS at Derby Royal Children's Hospital

On the 25th & 26th of May 2025 both Tom & myself along with a team of family & friends will cycle from The Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough to Pride Park in Derby. 166 miles in total.
It wasn't our plan to do another cycle but having learned so much in the last year from the diabetes team we felt it was really important to do this.
Our fundraising last year has helped us to get social activities for young type1 diabetic children off the ground. We now want to support those children whose families can't afford some of the basics which are vital to type1 diabetic children remaining healthy. So this year we are fundraising to develop 'BRADLEY’S BLUE BAG'. This will be a small blue bag containing hypo treatment which will go into care packs for type1 diabetic children whose families struggle to pay for this much needed supply. Your support so far has been hugely appreciated.
Raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of type1 diabetes is a promise we made to the team at Bradley's bedside shortly after his diagnosis & this is at the forefront of our minds all the time. It is so important that children are diagnosed early to prevent them from becoming seriously ill. Knowing the signs & symptoms can be life saving. TIRED THIRSTY THINNER TOILET
