Swim the river. Change a life.

Another year, another swim! This year, Tom Atherton and Emma Harrison will be Swooshing 6km down the Avon to end on Bantham Beach. A 6km tidal swim down the River Avon and into the Bantham Estuary, just by Burgh Island Hotel, of Poirot fame.

It’s called the Bantham Swoosh — and it’s a proper challenge. Fast-flowing water, incredible scenery, and hundreds of swimmers racing the current all the way to the beach.

This swim is in support of Level Water, a brilliant charity providing one-to-one swimming lessons for children with disabilities. Level Water have been incredible in supporting Tom and Jos’ son in building his confidence in the water, and helping him learn to swim. These lessons are joyful, empowering, and completely life-changing.

Every £15 raised gives a child the chance to learn to swim.
