Story
For the 5th time, I'm taking part in this year's 'Duchenne Dash' on 16th & 17th May, cycling 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours, alongside 160 other riders.
From my previous 4 Dash rides, I can confirm that 300km is a VERY LONG WAY in one day's riding!
But I'm doing it because it's quite an amazing charity. If ever you want to see how a really purposeful and well organized charity should work, then this is the one. Your donation goes directly to research and care for boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a devastating muscle-wasting disease diagnosed in childhood. I can’t recommend the charity highly enough.
My target this year is to raise a minimum of £5,000, and I want to do that by asking 250 supporters to donate just £20 each.
I do hope you can make a contribution, no matter what amount, to help me reach my target.
Thanks very much, Tom
