Story
Hello friends.
I'm running the Berlin Marathon in September, which will be the culmination of over six months of the hardest and most intense training I've ever put myself through. Yes, it's all for my own smug sense of self achievement and I apologise if you've had to endure dull conversation about heart rate zones, lactate thresholds and vo2 max, but lets turn it into a positive and raise a bit of dosh for a good cause.
This time, any sponsorship money raised will be going to Compton Care, who (I'm sure I don't need to tell you if you're Wolvo-massive) provide specialist care & support for families living with life limiting conditions.
I'm also part of a wider team of fundraisers called Challenge for Change working through the month of September as a collective to cover 41,000 kilometers to deliver funds for local charities.
More on Challenge for Change here...
A global movement for local impact
Challenge for Change is a worldwide movement fuelled by a shared commitment to children’s futures. Together, we’ll cover 41,000 kilometers, the distance around the globe, to raise funds for local charities that provide life-changing support to children in need.
This is more than a physical challenge. It’s a powerful network of friends, colleagues, and communities uniting to create change that transcends borders. Millions of children face barriers to education, healthcare, and safety every day. But global challenges require collective solutions.
Every step, every mile, every effort contributes to a brighter future, transforming the lives of children through emotional, educational, and financial support.
Be part of something extraordinary.
