On 11 September 2001, 343 firefighters lost their lives at the World Trade Centre. Twenty-five years on, firefighters from Barking Fire Station will climb 110 floors of 20 Fenchurch Street (the height of the World Trade Centre) in full fire kit, BA and carrying equipment weighing in total of 34.3 kg to honour every one of them.

Why those numbers?

Everything about this event is deliberate. 110 floors. 343 firefighters remembered. 34.3 kg carried. Each number is a tribute.
