Story
The Great North Run this year will be run in memory of an absolute legend of a bloke Andrew Mason. The infamous 50kg keg that Andrew wore and ran 100 miles over 5 days will make its appearance to raise money for the charity Bright Red, in honour of the amazing care and support both Andy and the Mason family received from the specialist team at the Freeman in Newcastle.
Whilst we may not be running in Andrew’s shoes, it is being ran in his honour and to help continue funding the amazing work the specialist nurses continue to do for others.
