Story
On the 17th April, I’ll be swapping my usual commute for something slightly more ambitious… roughly a 17-mile walk to work! I’ll be taking on the challenge with the JHB team to raise money for Hospicecare – an amazing charity that supports people and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
The plan? Set off from my front door in Kingsteignton at around midnight (yes, really), walk all the way to our office in South Brent, and then… crack on with a full day’s work like it’s completely normal!
It’s going to be a bit of a test – think dark country lanes, sore feet, and a serious reliance on caffeine – but it’s all for a brilliant cause. Hospicecare does such important work in our community, and we wanted to do something a little different (and slightly mad) to support them.
If you can spare anything to help spur me on during those early hours, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation will help Hospicecare continue providing care and support when it matters most.
Wish me luck… I might need it by mile 15…or 5!!!
