As many people who know me are aware, I was rescued alongside another member of Whitby Coastal Rowing Club by a crew from Whitby lifeboat station in early December. Without them coming to our rescue both of us would have likely drowned. To say thankyou and make sure the RNLI can continue to provide their invaluable lifesaving service and educate people on staying safe at sea I will be rowing a minimum of 238k in January, 1km for every lifeboat station in the UK and Ireland.
