Story
I am running the London Marathon this year in memory of Darrell McDonald, who recently passed away after a brave battle with sarcoma.
Although I do love running, this run is not just about completing a race -it's about honouring Darrell’s incredible strength, his impact on everyone who knew him, and raising awareness for a cause that affected him so deeply.
The marathon will be the 3 month anniversary of his passing.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that often goes under the radar, with limited research and awareness. It a cancer that is difficult to diagnose and is one of the hardest to treat.
By running in memory of Darrell, I hope to contribute to the important work Sarcoma UK is doing to improve the lives of those affected by this disease. Your donations will help fund critical research, support patients and their families, and raise awareness of sarcoma.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference. I am running to raise funds, but more importantly, to keep Darrell’s memory alive and help others facing similar challenges.
Thank you for your support.
