Hi! My name is Tom and thank you for visiting my Just Giving page! I'm going to be participating in the Bournemouth Triathlon 2024 for Myeloma UK.

Myeloma UK is an amazing charity that helps newly diagnosed as well as pre-existing diagnosed patients understand, receive support and information about the condition.

In 2021 my Dad was diagnosed with Meyloma, and this was a massive shock to the whole family. Dad has never had any major illnesses of any kind, so to have this develop from what we thought was a simple shoulder pain was quite a shock. Dad has braved this illness and faced it head on along with all the treatments, and we're all incredible proud of how he's come through it.

I want to run this triathlon to show Dad how much he's inspired me by going through the various intense treatments and lifestyle changes to fight this illness, and to demonstrate that if you try hard enough anything is possible.
