I’m gearing up to run my very first marathon — the iconic London Marathon on 26 April 2026.

Now, I’m not a natural runner, so this journey has been a true test of dedication, going from couch to marathon in just eight months.

Balancing work, home life, and training has meant some serious self-sacrifice. In fact, I even gave up mountain biking for the last five months just to make sure I could put in the miles this marathon demands, oh and beer I have drank a lot less beer.

But here’s the silver lining: I’m healthier and fitter than when I started — and feeling great about it!
