Story
I'm climbing every mountain in the British Isles, totalling 120 peaks. Don't know how long it will take me, but hopefully, I can break the current record!
The current record for climbing every mountain is 11 months, beating this would be a bonus! My ultimate aim would be climbing them all continuously as this has never been done. I am on track to do this as I have not stopped yet!
The Grand Appeal is a children's hospital charity in Bristol and gives me the chance to help the city I am from! All donations are very much appreciated and even sharing the story is incredibly generous.

I am following the p600 major definition for a mountain. This makes it very challenging as I have summit to the top of 120 mountains. Because they must be prominent by 600 metres, means that I have to go up and down every time. Unlike a munro for example, you can't follow a ridge and bag few in a matter of hours. I am essentially climbing the entire mountain by reaching the highest peak every time!
I started all the way down in southern Ireland. Climbing began at 7:56 am on the 25th of April. Since then I have driven a few thousand miles, got multiple ferry crossing to many different isles and done the equivalent elevation to climbing Everest more than 10 times.
I am operating completely solo and despite climbing 1, 2, or 3 of these mountains in a day I still have to find time drive some very long distances, wash myself and clothes in a river and eat whatever I can make on this little gas stove.
I hope the constant but hilarious suffering I am putting myself through, encourages you to help me fundraise for such a noble cause!
