Story

On May 10th 2025, I shall be taking part in the CARTEN100, riding 107 miles from Cardiff to Tenby raising money for Velindre Cancer Centre.

Here's a little background story on why I will be taking on this challenge for Velindre.

Back in 2007, my mum, Roz, was first diagnosed with breast cancer where she started her treatment at the Velindre Cancer Centre. Mum had bravely fought her battle with cancer for 14 years, sadly passing in March 2021.

Nothing stood in mum's way whilst she was going through her treatment all these years, pursuing her passion with horses, accompanying my sister Grace in competitions that took her all across the world. She was a true warrior, and an inspiration to many others.

I will be completing the CARTEN100 in memory of Mum, as well as raising money for a charity extremely close to my heart, for all the work and support they provide for families going through the battle against these cruel illnesses.

All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to Velindre Cancer Centre.
