Story
I am raising money for Fanconi Hope, a charity that supports people with a very rare genetic condition called Fanconi Anaemia.
It is an incredibly rare condition that can lead to leukemia and head and neck cancers, with the average life expectancy of people with Fanconi Anaemia often only being 20 to 30 years, to date there is no cure.
I am running the Great North Run for a little girl that lives in South Shields who has this condition, with any money raised being used to fund research into this condition, hopefully find a cure and extend her life.
Thanks Alex and Rich
