Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
I am running The London Marathon in April 2026. I am not a runner, but after watching my Daughter Megan run it this year for the same charity, I knew it was a challenge I wanted to do.
Our 16 year daughter Ella has ongoing heart problems and has undergone numerous heart surgeries at Bristol Children’s Hospital. The BHF has supported us as parents by providing incredible support with the information they provide online or brochures in the hospital. The amazing research which is ongoing will hopefully help others families in the future. Although Ella's battle is not over, she is doing her best at living life as a "normal" teenager.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
