A group of us will be walking the 50 miles from Amberley to Winchester along the South Downs Way non-stop to raise funds for the PTSD charity Who Dares Cares in memory of Tom Heaney.

Tom has previously undertaken this endeavour himself for the same cause, which as a proud soldier of the REME himself, he believed in greatly.

A tough challenge by any measure, to walk 50 miles cross country over rolling hills non-stop, it epitomises the guts and determination of the man we are remembering and honouring.

Sadly since Tom undertook the 50 miler challenge, he lost his brave battle with cancer. To which end, we are recreating the event to honour his memory and raise funds and awareness for Who Dares Cares, a cause he believed in.

Please give generously whatever you may be able to afford. Every last penny raised goes directly to helping those from both the military and emergency services communities who may be struggling with PTSD.
