Story
As a primary school teacher, I have been able to work first hand with the NSPCC. As part of a school community, we do all we can to keep children safe, but sometimes it isn’t enough.
The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October for the NSPCC. It will be another big personal challenge for me to accomplish. I just want to get through this race, just as I try to do each day. But knowing I am running for a cause like this, makes the pain worth fighting for.
Every child deserves the best life.
