In Loving Memory of My Nanna, and for All Affected by Alzheimer’s
I’m running the London Marathon 2025 in memory of my wonderful Nanna, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when I was just a child. Watching her journey with this disease has left a lasting impact on me, and it’s a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
This marathon isn’t just about running 26.2 miles – it’s about honouring her memory and supporting everyone who’s been touched by this devastating disease. Alzheimer’s doesn’t only affect those diagnosed, but also their families, friends, and loved ones who walk this challenging path alongside them.
Through this run, I hope to raise much-needed funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK, a charity dedicated to finding a cure and offering hope for a future without this disease. The work they do is vital in helping to prevent, diagnose, and ultimately cure Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
If you can, please donate to this important cause. Your support will help fuel not only my marathon run, but also the research that will one day make Alzheimer’s a thing of the past. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is a step closer to that goal.
Thank you for your kindness and support – it truly means the world to me, my family, and everyone affected by Alzheimer’s.
Together, let’s make a difference. 💜
