Story
32 miles of the Jurassic Coast. 14 of us. Three days. Zero sensible excuses.
From 25–27 September, we’re tackling 32 miles of the Jurassic Coast. Anyone who knows the South West Coast Path will know that “picturesque” means a fairly relentless amount of going up and down.
We’re each raising money for a charity of our choice, and mine is Learning Space.
Around 1 in 6 young people in Surrey are thought to have a probable mental health condition. Learning Space provides child-centred emotional wellbeing and mental health support, with a team trained in neurodiversity and solution-focused approaches. It’s a small Surrey charity doing important work close to home.
I’ll do the miles and the hills. If you can spare a few pounds for Learning Space, I’d be hugely grateful.
£5 - the price of a mediocre coffee. Skip it and send the money to Learning Space instead.
£15 - pays for sensory materials and plants in a nature-based therapy group.
£65 - provides a specialist early-intervention session for a struggling child.
£100+ - full rights to laugh at my hobbling on Monday morning.
Many thanks!
