Story
Katie Stevens and I are trustees at Epilepsy Action. One of us lives in north Cumbria, the other in Northumbria. We have our own experiences of epilepsy but we share a passion for increasing awareness of the condition, its impact on everybody who's touched by it, and the wonders of those who provide care and treatment. So we're combining our efforts to raise money for Epilepsy Action, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
Not enough people know the truth about epilepsy even though it's a common health condition. It's more than an inconvenience - it's an unpredictable interruption to our lives with potentially fatal consequences.
Please help us help Epilepsy Action create a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the things that stop people with epilepsy living their best life, and celebrating the wonderful community that means when epilepsy says stop, we say JUMP!
