Story
Thanks for visiting my page!
On Sunday, 27th April, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF)a cause that is deeply personal to me. I’m running in memory of my grandfather, Alistair Morison.
Earlier this year, my grandfather sadly passed away from heart failure, just days before he was due to have a heart operation. Losing him has been heartbreaking, but it has also strengthened my determination to support the BHF in their lifesaving work.
The BHF has already helped halve the number of deaths from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but there’s still so much more to do. Every day, hundreds of families lose loved ones to heart disease, and research is the key to changing that. Just £24 could fund two hours of vital research by an early-career scientist, helping to develop new treatments and save lives.
I’ve been training hard for months, and I’m both excited and nervous to take on 26.2 miles in honor of my grandfather and everyone affected by heart disease. Every donation, big or small, will make a huge difference—so if you can, please support me in reaching my fundraising goal. And if you’re in London on the 27th of April, come and cheer me on!
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
