Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 6th April I am taking part in the London Land Marks Half Marathon to raise money for Shay’s Smiles.
Shay, one of my best friends, tragically passed away on 1st September 2020 just 22 months after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a grade 4 brain tumour.
Shay and I went to school together whilst also playing in the same football team for Woburn Lions and the MK Dons. Shay was a kind hearted, lovely friend and his smile lit up the room. Shay is missed dearly everyday and will always be remembered.
Shay’s Smiles is a charity set up in Shay’s memory to help children and families access specialist healthcare and importantly improve research into the treatment of glioblastoma brain tumours in children.
