Version 2 - All 11 Leeds Parkruns in one day · 17 June 2023

At Zarach we are on a mission to end bed poverty in England giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the future cycle of poverty. So far, We have delivered over 10,000 beds to children, ensuring they get the restful sleep they need and lifting them out of bed poverty.

Story

Many children are going to sleep hungry without a proper bed of their own.

Poverty is a real problem that has a significant effect on a child’s education. By providing something to eat and a good night’s sleep, we hope to give every child an equal chance to learn and succeed at school.

Myself (Abbey Runners and GSAL) and Simon Jones (Abbey Runners) are doing all 11 Leeds Parkruns to raise money for Zarach.

We'd love people to take and join us at one of the courses throughout the day - sorry that logistics mean it is a very early start for us at the first few!

This is an updated version of the fundraiser - £810 was previously raised, before IT issues stopped us! All of this money has made its way to Zarach along with the Gift Aid.
